In the project of fast X-ray cargo/container scanner for the Royal Malaysian Customs, two sets of equipment successfully passed the final acceptance

In 2020, CGN Begood won the bid for the project of fast X-ray cargo/container scanner (13 sets) for the Royal Malaysian Customs. On September 20-24, 2021, Royal Malaysian Customs organized the final acceptance test (FAT) of two sets of equipment installed in Johor. The acceptance expert team was composed of multiple units, such as the Malaysian Ministry of Finance, Royal Customs, Atomic Energy Agency, University of Science and Technology, National University and a third-party inspection agency. The acceptance team conducted strict tests and inquiries on the functions, performance, and technical indicators of the product. The expert agreed that the product complies with the requirements of the contract and related standards, gives the pass certification to the final acceptance.

The COVID-19 epidemic in Malaysia is serious, leaders of all parties attach great importance to it and formulate epidemic prevention plans and control measures; the implementation team has overcome many difficulties and worked hard to promote the smooth completion of the project, which has won unanimous praise from users and experts. The putting into use of this system will greatly improve the security inspection capability and efficiency of Malaysia Customs, and also set a benchmark for Begood to expand overseas business.
